I love to blog...it is true...

Here in blogworld again...I really like being able to come home and blog about my day...since you aren't here. It makes it feel more real...like you're here...or get to experience it..you know?

So we went to Sanibel Island today to fish, and sunbathe. You should google it..REALLY..anyone who comes to visit-gets a free trip to the island...b/c it is my favorite...seriously...when you get on the island...there is nothing but tropical plants and flowers EVERYWHERE..with beach-houses...and beach...and NATURE..all is lovely on Sanibel Island....Seriously....I WILL have a tan for the wedding...it will happen...even if i avoided the sun-here...in florida..there is NO avoiding the sun...
And then Jeremy caught a fish....that he didn't realize was "gold." A guy came over and snatched it so quick (well he asked for it in an ever so please please kind of way)...Apparently it makes fabulous bait...So the man caught a HUGE "snook," an ever so popular fish around here. Needless to say, the next fish we caught like that we kept for ourself....Lesson learned...But hey..good karma came...And even though we caught no big fish, the guy came and gave us enough snapper to have a nice dinner for tonite...All is well in fishie land..

And this bird made me smile...over and over...he kept following people around and of course searched for food...but he wasn't really afraid..so you were able to get pretty close..cute little fella'.

This is the bridge that leads to the island. It goes from fort myers, to a small island before sanibel and then continues into sanibel. The view is breathtaking...

Finally got crafty...made this for my sister. It's on a canvas. Lot's of paint...and all that jazz ;)

But maybe the highlight of my day...We bought a mojito kit...(rum not included)...and it is magnificent! Soooooo...again..when anyone comes to visit....I will be your special mojito bartender..and prepare the most fabulous mojitos....by the pool...
