And So it goes.....

Holy bejesus..this may very well be a lengthy post...Lot's o' news...

We are officially out of our house, and now staying at the new house that my parents have purchased but have not moved into yet. You know we gotta break it in!Everything is in boxes. In going through and packing up everything, here is a picture of some of my collectables .. i really dig vintage bottles and paperweights..

And here is a painting I did of jeremy's bass-that i decided to go ahead and throw away. I know i probably should've kept it, but i got severely overwhelmed with the whole moving process in just 2 days..

In all of the madness,we will have to re-pack for our big move to...I'll tell you about that in a minute...

So we flew to Rochester, NY on Mon Mar 3rd so i could take a placement test for an LPN program up there...Cross your fingers..i have to wait a few weeks before I know anything..All i can say..is as all tests do...it SUCKED. I feel glad to be done with that and hope it pays off.. On another note...We had a blast in Rochester..
I finally got to experience TRUE snow..See below for the rent a car...

While we were there we went for some awesome sushi at a fabulous place called California Rollin. If you are ever up there for any reason, and love sushi like I do..it's worth trying. They even had these kickass bumper stickers up that said www.makingsushi.com. I haven't checked it out yet, but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

We also got the luxury of having some hibachi madness! It was rather delightful and entertaining. this asian chef cooks on this metal tabletop in front of you performing various tricks with your food as he prepares it and then serves it straight to your plate.

We will certainly be doing that again. Jeremy says when we do, we will most likely play critics with the one's we'll see, b/c they couldn't possibly compare to him.

Also on our journey, we hung out on the pier leading to Lake Ontario.

I learned what it was like to layer my clothes...and make it look good. HAH!

On Wednesday, we drove up to Niagra Falls, NY to do a wine tasting and check out the Niagra Falls. It was beautiful...and COLD...We went during the day for about an hour and tried to go back for the big "lighting of the falls" that night, but it was unbearably cold by that point. We lasted for about 30 seconds... Us damn southerners :)

Before we hit the road, we went to Hard Rock Cafe for a few drinks and good conversation. Loved every minute of it. You should've seen all of the memorabilia.

And sadly enough...this is where we returned home...

But that's not it..Jeremy found out we'd be moving to Pennsylvania mar 17th for the travel nursing job he's been waiting for! We will be leaving this wednesday March 12th. Reason being, his mom is in Virginia doing a travel nursing assignment and his army buddy, Chris lives in virginia, which are both on the way. So we will spend a few days up there before we head to Pennsylvania. I am ecstatic that it's finally here, and a little sad...b/c I am really going to miss my fiends...especially TIFF...Shes my world...and i won't be able to just hop in my car to see her like i can now...So i vow to spend alot of time with her over these next couple of days...Absorb her as much as possible...

Holy shit! I can't believe i left one part out....While at the airport on our way home, we missed one of our flights b/c the original flight we were on was late. Our bags made it home before we did, by about 2 1/2 huors. Once we got home and i unpacked everything, i realized a very important piece of my life was missing...i know what i'm gonna say is materialistic..but here goes..My ipod and my portable speakers, with the case, the headphones, the leather portective case for the ipod, were all in there...And POOF it's gone..the sad thing is..that the only way it came up missing is by the ever so fabulous airport staff who indeed JACKED me....You know..it hurts b/c it was my music..which i can't live without..but even moreso, when i called the airportto tell them about it, they basically said there was nothing they could do...So you mean to tell me in the extra secure airports, that are doing all they can to ban terrorists, they can't find out where my ipod ended up???!!!!!! or is it the fac tthat i'm not a frequesnt flyer or a 1st class flyer..Anyway..i cried like a big ol baby, and I'm f-ing furious....I will no longer be trusting airline/airport personnel..Even if that means packing the BRE minimum..it's not a chance i'm willing to take....
