***She's Crafty

So i finally got around to setting some time to the side for ME, me, ME...I scrapped for HOURS...Nothing could stop me...I needed that...See below...

This next layout i did, i did for #20 of the effer dares-Alter a photo...i had a great time with this I must say I'm pretty pleased with the outcome...I can't wait to find more time...There's something else i've been working on..but i can't show yet..if I like the outcome..I may give it to Tiff for her birthday...So far...I dig it..

***H-town Goodness

So i must say what an amazing weekend we had in Houston. We stayed in the middle of downtown at a pimp hotel called "The Magnolia." I'll post more pictures on that later. We had the coolest navigator ever-The Garmin ROCKS..told us exactly where to go, EXACTLY where to turn..and if you took a wrong turn it'd simply re-route you...i'd have to say the coolest thing about it was that it cut out SOOOO much time trying to find our way-leaving more time to just goof off...that shit is awesome...One day i'll have to purchase one. So our first long day there, we made the trip to Archivers.**badass!!! The scrapbookers dream..to say the least..and their stamp collection was out of this world! here is a peek at what i created that nite for HOURS using some of the product we bought...just sort of tested them out..good stuff..
Later that night we hit the downtown scene for some DELICIOUS mexican food and walked past a strip where the trolley would stroll-totally worth taking a snapshot of..


We stayed up for hours that nite...doing what we do best...We took pics from the roof of the hotel during sunset..I'll post those later..the view was breathtaking-overlooking all of downtown. Definately a trip i'd love to take again..



On another note, i finally got to go see Sara and Kaleb!! he's absolutely ADORABLE...He's so little..with big ol' feet...and he makes the cutest facial expressions..he's definately got a little personality on him!! You couldn't help but watch him in complete awe..

I'm already ready to go back for more...and i will-soon....very soon...Until next time...

A day Late

Happy 4th of July! I had a great 4th-minus the fact i didn't get crafty-OR SEE my BFF..:( We'z some crazy girls when we get together..Anyhoo..It rained part of the day through the nite-which rocked b/c i heart rain..and the sky was pretty baddass..hence the pic..

my camera did a little justice to the red hue..(the sky was more electric purple..)
And here's jeremy..being-well, Jeremy... BUT my fav. part of july 4th is the fireworks and i didn't see that happenin... then...there was officially light at the end of the tunnel...

POW POW POW!

Good drinks, great friends(minus my BFF), beer pong, corn hole(it's a game)....i had a little toooo much to drink....and i'll probably do it all over again next year!(with the Best Friend i hope ::winks::)

Onto brighter news!!!! Tomorrow nite-is gonna be badass!! i can't even stand the excitement!!!We're driving down to Houston to enjoy the downtown scene, thrift store shops, and bestly-checkin out the new ARCHIVER's!!! We've got gettin' crafty on our minds amongst other things..Hell, we have the whole trip planned out-and it's gonna ROCK. I'll post pics when we get back..Until next time.. X's & O's

i Am A bAyoU GiRl ;)

So the poker run was awesome! Probably the best one i've been on. This is my 3rd year going. We didn't win our hand-but we did win 2 years ago so we can't be greedy! It's always worth the while either way! It's just so beautiful out there! We went from being in small bayous you coould hardly fit the boat, out in huge waters (lakes) that had more passageways to lead to other bayous. No map for this excursion, just a few signs here and there. We got lost a few times, but nothing major! Here are a few pics from our excursion!

There were a couple hundred people at the ending camp, and a live band to go along with it(they sucked, but it was still fun to have them there) We wound up leaving for a while to get away from it all and enjoy our surroundings....good times....i surely stayed on that 4 wheeler for a while ;)

ON ANOTHER NOTE! MY FRIEND SARA HAD HER BABY!!! TODAY!! And it's her birthday! That rocks!!!

He is 7lbs 8oz and is 20.5 inches long
