Sure feels like it..It's hot as hell outside..but pretty day none the less. So this is my first blog-eh. Let's see how long I can actually manage to keep up with this. Of all the journals I have started but didn't finish til trillions of years later(okay so I'm exagerrating) i'm sure gonna try.
So this weekend is what i'm really waiting for. I've got "lot's of important things to do..." Jeremy and i are going on a poker run out in Bayou Sorrell. If you don't know what that is, it's where hundreds of boats/people go out into the bayou, buying a hand of poker (50 bucks) and go from camp to camp til you end up with 6 cards that are each sealed in an envelope. You end at a camp where you reveal the cards and whoever wins ends up with 1,000 bucks. 2nd place gets 500 and 3rd place gets around 250 or so...i hear some scrapbook supplies calling my name. I spend way too much money on that stuff...Or maybe I just make myself feel like I do..So this event lasts from around 8:00 am til around 5:00pm involving drinking and sunbathing all day..
Last night I got to hang out with my BFF..good times..we reminisced on our drunken stories and "remember when's"...some of that stuff I'd nearly forgotten about so it was good to bring it up after so long. I made a few cards last nite too.
This card is for a friend of Jeremy and I's (Nadine) who is getting married. She lives in Denmark.
i made this one for Sara (just stating the obvious...) Her birthday is July 2nd (hence the July 4th theme)
And this one I made a few days ago..my grandmother passed away so i didn't get to give it to her. :(
Okay..I gotta go..my workday is officially over.
